UPDATE: COVID-19 STATUS WITHIN THE KITCHEN STUDIOS WORLDWIDE
It is the goal of The Kitchen to maintain as close to normal operations in all studio locations, while keeping our team members as safe and secure as possible during the COVID-19 pandemic. While we recognize that may be a difficult, if not impossible goal, we are attempting to modify standard operating procedures, while maintaining quality standards and close communications with all of our clients.
With the majority of our team working remotely (translators, adaptors, project managers, accounting, mixers and sales teams), we’ve drastically limited the number of personnel in the studios within The Kitchen group that remain operating.
With daily revision of protocols issued by the WHO (World Health Organization), as well as local, state and federal governments, we will revise our own internal operations as dictated, communicating all updates to clients and colleagues regularly.
Our technical teams, at each Kitchen location, are now in the process of expanding, testing and implementing new home recording studios. It is because many of our talented voice actors do much of their work in their own studios regularly, that we are able to continue to provide clients with voices that can be recorded without experiencing significant delays.
All translation and subtitling operations continue to function as usual, with our US and UK-based translation teams all working remotely.
Extraordinary safety and sanitary precautions have been implemented at each of our locations following strict WHO guidelines.
For your information, you will find an updated “Heat Map” attached, covering all our locations and sharing the levels they are now working under. Please visit The Kitchen website daily at www.thekitchen.tv for up to the minute communications on status of operations worldwide, or email info@thekitchen.tv for further details.
