The Kitchen Attends
The International Animation Film Market (MIFA)
For Immediate Release May 20, 2019
ANNECY: The Kitchen, the industry’s only Emmy Award Winning language translation, dubbing and subtitling studios, is delighted to be attending the International Animation Film Market (MIFA) this June. Held in Annecy, France, from June 11-14, at L'Impérial Palace, MIFA is the premiere animation showcase in the industry relating to co-producing, purchasing, selling financing and distributing animation content for all broadcasting platforms and a ‘must’ for The Kitchen, as we expand our localization offerings around the globe.
MIFA celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2015 and continues to grow each year in terms of its importance to the industry.
The Kitchen will be represented by Carlo Forester, Executive Producer of The Kitchen Italy, who has been attending the event for the past decade. “This festival is an excellent opportunity for The Kitchen and all of its dubbing studios, to share all that it has to offer to producers of animation programming from around the globe,” Carlo explained. “We have many clients who attend, all looking to localize their programs in multiple languages. This is what The Kitchen is all about. We now operate studios in Brazil; France; Mexico; Hungary; Spain; Italy; Germany; Turkey and the US,” he added. “Many of our clients now are looking to consolidate and have one company that can manage multiple languages in different locations simultaneously. Our goal is to give our clients the opportunities they are looking for, and get it all done with the same level of quality for which The Kitchen is known.
Carlo will be joined at the market by several of his talented Milan-based colleagues. “Mifa affords us an opportunity to meet one on one with many of our long-time clients. We get to see a lot of our work playing to audiences from around the world. A very exciting time for sure,” he concluded.
